One of the most incredible places I‘ve ever visi

One of the most incredible places I‘ve ever visited on this planet: Sarakiniko Beach on the island of Milos, Greece.

There, I got to watch the sunrise twice during our stay. It was breathtaking. It felt like I was stepping on the moon and watching the sun rise, but even better because I was surrounded by the ocean.

Um dos lugares mais incríveis que já visitei nesse planeta: Praia de Sarakiniko na ilha de Milos, Grécia.

De lá vi o nascer do sol duas vezes durante nossa estadia. Me senti como se tivesse pisando na lua e vendo o sol nascer, mas ainda melhor porque estava rodeada pelo mar.

I want to thank everyone who took their time to leave a comment of send me messages of support. I’m so happy to know that I can count on so many of you even though we’ve never met in person. It has been so lovely to hear about your lives as well and reconnect! There’s so much to share from our side that I don’t even know how to begin. ⁠

Maybe I should start by giving some updates of our current life:⁠
- Wolfi has been working from home for months, and this year he has been only twice to his office;⁠
- Madu is going to the Kindergarten, but until last week she had to be quarantined because she had contact with a Covid positive child. She tested negative and is back to Kindergarten;⁠
- I’m working on publishing my first novel, INCOMPLETE, as well as finishing the first draft of a new one;⁠
- Fitz had his annual vaccine yesterday and the vet laughed when I told her that he still doesn’t lift his leg to pee 🤣.⁠

Queria agradecer a todos que tiraram um tempo pra deixar um comentário ou escrever uma mensagem de apoio. - Wolfi tá trabalhando de casa há meses, esse ano ele só foi duas vezes no escritório;⁠
- A Madu está no Kindergarten, mas até semana passada ela estava de quarentena porque teve contato com uma criança com Covid. Ela testou negativo e já está de volta no Kindergarten;⁠
- Eu estou atualmente trabalhando na publicação do meu primeiro livro, INCOMPLETE, e terminando de escrever o segundo;⁠
- O Fitz ontem tomou a vacina anual dele e a veterinária morreu de rir quando falei que ele ainda não levanta a perna pra fazer pipi 🤣⁠

Over here we had quite the crazy year, I believe you too. But, we’re back, and this time we are fully back, our faces and all.

For so long you wanted to see more of us, the time has come. Everything in its own time. I’m happy to be back and can’t wait to catch up with you all.

Já faz um tempo né? Sou tão grata pelas mensagens que vocês me enviaram ao longo desse último ano, foram muito importantes. Realmente precisei dessa pausa, obrigada por todos que entenderam isso.

Por aqui foi um ano bem intenso, acredito que pra vocês também. Mas voltamos, e dessa vez voltamos com tudo, inclusive nossas caras para vocês verem.

Happy New Year from us! 2019 was the hardest in many ways for me, but the year I learned the most about life and about what really matters, and family is certainly one of them. I wish you all a 2020 full of positive energy and that you will enjoy the present and stop worrying about the future, because the future is now. I also wish that you will make it to at least one of your dream destinations this year! Happy first Friday of the year (just in case you are still thinking today is Sunday again).

Feliz Ano Novo! 2019 foi o ano mais difícil pra mim, mas também o ano que mais me ensinou, principalmente sobre o que realmente importa na vida, como a família. Our recent trip to London taught us all so much about taking a city trip with a toddler... it was once again a very enriching experience for us as parents. Yes, we had difficult moments, under the rain, with lack of naps during the day that led to tiredness and tantrums. But we had so much fun meeting Santa Claus, meeting friends (@mama_aylas_adventures ), riding on Winter Wonderland, walking the streets of this gorgeous city, eating chocolates and sweets, feeding squirrels in the park, speaking English (at the moment, Little M‘s English is probably better than her German) and falling in love with all the Christmas decorations in town. London definitely did not disappoint, and it’s the perfect place for a Christmas trip.

Nossa recente viagem à Londres nos ensinou bastante sobre viajar com uma criança pra uma cidade grande... como sempre, foi uma experiência enriquecedora para nós pais. Sim, houveram momentos difíceis, com chuva, com falta de cochilo que levou à pequenos escândalos (😅). Mas nos divertimos muito conhecendo o Papai Noel, reencontrando amigos (@mama_aylas_adventures) brincando no Winter Wonderland, andando pelas ruas lindas dessa cidade incrível, comendo chocolates e doces, dando comida pros esquilos no parque, falando inglês (no momento o inglês da Little M é provavelmente melhor que o alemão) e se apaixonando pelas decorações natalinas da cidade. Londres sem dúvida não decepcionou e provou ser um destino incrível para uma viagem com clima de Natal.

While in London, we had breakfast in an Igloo with a view to the Shard and the Tower Bridge. It was a great escape from the rain. Little M loved the bacon, I loved the pancakes and me and W. loved how much she behaved like a lady.

These Igloos at the @coppaclub are decorated according to the season, and there are only a few of them. Getting a reservation wasn’t so easy, but I ended up realizing that it’s still possible to get a place by just stopping by. They are very child friendly and even have a menu for children. And no, this isn’t a sponsored post or anything, I just enjoyed it there and wanted to recommend.

Em Londres tomamos café da manhã em um igloo com vista para o famoso The Shard e Tower Bridge. Foi ótimo para fugir um pouco da chuva. A Little M. amou o bacon, eu as pancakes e o W. e eu adoramos que a Little M se comportou como uma lady.

Esses igloos do @coppaclub são decorados de acordo com a época do ano, e só tem alguns deles. Não foi fácil conseguir uma reserva, mas depois descobri que também é possível aparecer por lá e tentar conseguir um lugar. O restaurante é ótimo com crianças e até oferecem um menu pros pequenos. Não, esse post não foi patrocinado, apenas curti nossa experiência por lá e decidi compartilhar.

Mais um dia até o Natal. Acabamos de voltar de Londres (talvez alguns de vocês acompanharam nossa viagem pelo Stories) e amanhã começarei a postar algumas fotos da viagem. Já fizemos as comprar pro Natal e agora estamos finalmente descansando dos últimos meses que foram bem cheios por aqui.
